The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
